  1. Name the constraint: be very specific and get clarity on what the constraint is.
  2. Exaggerate the constraint: By making the constraint bigger than you expect it to be you can face it with an open mind. Make the constraint 10x bigger to take your creativity and ideas for problem solving to new heights!
  3. Get creative. Brainstorm ideas. Nothing is off the table, throw out all your ideas good and bad until you have enough to form a solid plan.
  4. BONUS: Listen to the way your people talk about constraints: understanding their tone of thinking early on will help you address it.
